About Me
Hi, I’m Taylor Porter, a proud U.S. Army veteran with roots around the world. Throughout my military journey I had the privilege of serving first as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot, and later, as a Civil Affairs Officer within the esteemed Special Operations community.
After my service, I decided to turn my passion for travel into a full-time job by starting my own vacation rental property management company right here in Hilton Head Island.
I now spend my days serving vacation property owners, helping them realize their goals, maximizing their earning potential, and providing their guests with a boutique-like experience.
I work with some amazing clients and would love the opportunity to meet and work with you!

I've developed a deep passion for this ever-evolving field with six years in the short-term rental industry and fifteen years in the hospitality industry. I find immense satisfaction in helping owners maximize their investments.

Hello there, I'm Alex, the proud owner of Grand Welcome Hilton Head Island. I was born and raised in Easton, PA, and later graduated from Penn State University.
My passion for aviation led me to serve as an Aviation Officer and Helicopter Pilot for nine years. This experience instilled a sense of discipline and commitment that I now apply to my business.
Eventually, my journey brought me to Hilton Head Island to open Grand Welcome Hilton Head Island. My wife Kerry, stepdaughter Lana, son Olympiu, and our two dogs make our home a lively and loving place.
Now, I'm dedicated to providing a grand welcome to all visitors of Hilton Head Island through my short-term vacation rental business. I look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant city!
What I Love About Hilton Head ISLAND
You'll often find me golfing at one of the many great golf courses Hilton Head Island has to offer and watching the RBC Heritage each year. I love playing chess on the beach with a good cup of coffee and grabbing some great seafood at Hudson's Seafood House.
